We will be staying at Bayu Gita Estate. Bayu Gita presents nine luxurious bedrooms across two self-contained villas in the tranquil coastal village of Ketewel on Bali’s south-east coast. In total, the complex can sleep up to 18 adults, and is exceptionally well equipped, boasting two swimming pools, various jacuzzis and plunge pools, a home cinema with over 500 movies, a high-tech gym, a games room, and multiple living and dining areas. 

All rooms are "double accomodation", meaning each room accommodates two twin beds or one king bed for two guest. You will be paired with a travel mate. You may also opt to room with a friend/partner. To do so, you will need to select quantity of two at check-out.

We will use private transportation with a professional driver who will guide us and get us from one location to another.

Indonesia uses Type C (2-pin) and Type J (3-pin) plugs, (Type C 2-pin plugs also fit J sockets).

Most power sockets are designed for three-pin round plugs. The standard continental type plug with two round pins, applied to many electrical travel products, may be used without problems. 

The official currency of Indonesia is Rupiah - IDR. ATMs and Credit cards are easy to reach

Indonesian banknotes denominations - IDR1000, IDR2000, IDR5000, IDR10000, IDR20000, IDR50000, and IDR100000. Coins in circulation include IDR1000, IDR500, IDR200, IDR100, and IDR50.

Up to IDR100,000,000.00 (one hundred million rupiahs) or equivalent is allowed to carry in and out Indonesia. Over this, travelers must declare to Indonesian Customs.

Credit and charge cards such as Visa and MasterCard are the most commonly accepted and some do take American Express.

With a few exceptions, VAT is applicable on deliveries (sales) of goods and services within Indonesia at a rate of 11% starting 1 April 2022 onwards. VAT on export of goods is zero-rated, whilst the import of goods is subject to VAT at a rate of 11% starting 1 April 2022 onwards

 U.S. citizens are not required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before travel by air to the United States from a foreign country. 

Your passport must have at least two blank pages and be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your arrival in Indonesia. If your passport does not meet these requirements, you will be denied entry into Indonesia. The Government of Indonesia does not recognize the 12-page U.S. emergency passport, issued by U.S. embassies and consulates overseas, as a valid travel document for visa-free travel, and, if traveling on this emergency passport, you may be refused boarding and/or entry by immigration officials. If you travel on a limited validity passport, such as an emergency passport, you must obtain a visa prior to arriving in Indonesia.
